Dr Anne Phillips is a Queens Nurse and a National Teaching Fellow with the Higher Education Academy; she is currently an Associate Professor in Diabetes Care at Birmingham City University. Anne also is part of the iDEAL Diabetes multidisciplinary advisory group, who are an independent organisation working to reduce variation in standards and enable excellence in diabetes care delivery both for people with diabetes and health care professionals.
Anne has an Honorary Contract as a Diabetes Research Nurse with the Diabetes Team at Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital, Birmingham.
Anne is an editorial member for the European Medical Journal Diabetes Series and UK Practice Nursing Journals to enable outreach of diabetes education to practice colleagues.
