Lisa has 20 years’ experience in global development, public service and public health. She has spent the majority of her career in Big 4 consulting, serving clients such as the United Nations, development agencies, and governments. She established and led the KPMG Human and Social Services practice in South Africa between 2013-2018. 

Lisa’s interest is in the social determinants view of health and diabetes and she is an advocate for the role of private sector in public health and community change. She is currently a doctoral candidate, and her thesis explores how a systems approach can be applied to issues of social change, public health, rights and justice.
