The association between diabetes and depression has been well known for at least three decades. Major advances in the past two decades have improved understanding of the biological basis for the relationship between depression and diabetes.
Diabetes is an invisible condition which poses a huge yet unregulated risk to many people on a day to day basis and continues to grow. As part of our efforts to tackle the diabetes epidemic, the Diabetes Safety Organisation is working with international law firm, Gowling WLG.
The Diabetes Safety Organisation is an official partner of the Wellbeing in Construction Summit brought to you by UK Construction Week, which looks at strategies on improving physical wellbeing, personal and mental ill-health within the workplace and amongst construction employees. The event will take place on 2 July in ExCeL, London.
